Question:

Where is my stiumulus paper check?

I filed my taxes right before the April 15th cut-off. My last two digits of my social suggest that the paper stimulus check should have been mailed out on June 6 (today is June 12th). What is taking so long in receiving it?

  1. If you efiled very close to 4/15 or filed by mail within a couple weeks of the deadline, your return was probably not processed by 4/15, the cutoff for the first round of payments, so you'll get yours after the first round finishes in mid July

  2. The published schedules were for people who filed by 4/1.

    Go to irs.gov.

Click on where's my refund, then where's my stimulus (twice).

Use the applet.  Does it say sorry (meaning it's not processed yet--if so, check back on Mondays) or does it give you data?

  3. I have same problem, except I filed before April 1st. Message on irs site says "We are sorry.  Specific information about your stimulus payment is not available."  According to schedule, mine should have been mailed no later than June 6th. We have no tax debt. I'm getting anxious. Any ideas?
