  1. it's usually in centre

  2. Generally speaking, it's in the center of the cell. But it doesn't have to be dead center, and as a cell migrates the relative position of the nucleus to the rest of the cell changes (i.e., as the cell "decides" to move, it re-orients its organelles to prepare for migration, the Golgi apparatus changes position, and the nucleus re-orients; then, as the cell moves in one direction, the nucleus appears to move to the "back" end of the cell as the "front" end pushes forward.

Interesting note: the nuclear membrane is contiguous with the endoplasmic reticulum, which sometimes nears the cell membrane but is not directly connected to it. So the nucleus is NOT attached to the "side" of a cell.

Also interesting to consider: the standard cell shapes we see in cell culture can vary dramatically from what occurs in vivo. For example, many cells cultured on a flat dish in a lab look like a fried egg, nucleus in the middle, and thin projections spreading out radially. But in the body, that same cell may be polarized in only 2 directions, or may have completely different-looking projections based on its environment (e.g., whether it's surrounded by other cells, by connective tissue like collagen, or is lining the surface of an organ).

In conclusion, short answer: the nucleus is near the center of the cell. Usually.

  3. In an animal cell, nucleus is found in the center of the cell,on the other hand in the plant cell nucleus is pushed onto the one side due to large vacoule

  4. """"""""""Centre"""""""""""""""""

  5. Usually in the center, however there are thousands (if not millions) of different kinds of animal cells and they are ALL different.  It is usually in the center.

  6. centre

  7. The Nucleus is almost present at the centre of the cell. The nucleus is a highly specialized organelle that serves as the information and administrative center of the cell. This organelle has two major functions. It stores the cell's hereditary material, or DNA, and it coordinates the cell's activities, which include intermediary metabolism, growth, protein synthesis, and reproduction (cell division).

  8. it is located in the centre of cell

  9. It's usually attatched to the side I believe. Or you can look it up on google images ^___^
