Where is "noob"?

noob = newbie = someone who is so new to the sport that they don't even know what a noob is

I hope that cleared things up!

noob is used in lots of things, not just snowboarding.

but it is a word that i would never use.  everybody was a noob, once.  why be rude about it?

"noob" is somewhere between "I don't know what I'm doing" (a place where all snowboarders have been on their first day) and the promised land of "I shred  the mountian and have mastered everything snowboard" (which most of us try to reach, but there is always someone better).

a noob or n00b is a newbie or someone who is new to snowboarding...guessing since you don't know that...that would be you...it's okay. You'll grow out of the name...eventually
