  2. In the daytime, Rome is located on the side of the earth where the sun shines. At night time it moves to the dark side of the earth.

  3. I really am very puzzled and amazed to see that one could not know the location of Rome!  

    However, there is no such thing as a stupid question and what seems stupid to one person may be difficult, confusing, elusive,  etc., to someone else...so here goes:  Rome, the "eternal city", beautiful Roma of Churches and fountains and art and history, of laughter and love, "THE" Rome, this Rome is located in and is the capital of Italy.
