It is, as had been said, a suburb of Paris, well outside the city but reachable by either the RER commuter rail line or by Bus.

If you are looking for a hotel and selecting one here because of price you are practicing a false economy.

Not only will you have transportation costs to and from this remote location you will be using up your time getting into the city.

Furthermore, the RER and most bus lines close shortly after midnight which means you will either have to take a taxi back to your hotel or fallback on the Noctilien (night bus system) which is very limited. It takes, for example three different night buses to get from central Paris to this location.

You would be far better off choosing a cheap hotel in central Paris such as the Hotel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne where you can get a double with private facilites for 50€.

Rosny sous Bois is just outside Paris,you can go there from Chatelet by RER,wich is the fast train running all over Paris and suburbs !

Rosny Sous Dois is in the eastern suburbs (or as the locals call it "Communes") of Paris about 8 kl from the Paris CBD.

There is 2 railway stations (well was 3 years ago) and heaps of buses to travel to Paris.
