Where is safest location in the US from natural catastrophes?

I would think San Diego CA

even though its in CA....they only receive VERY MINOR tremors if theres an earthquake further north....they have the best weather all year round....

Well, there is NO place which is really SAFE, just some places which have less risk for certain types of natural events. At the moment, the least amount of bad weather, the least number of things like earthquakes and such seems to be the area in and around around Utah and Idaho, with Arizona and New Mexico coming in a close second.
