  1. Ridgewood Ranch, Willits, California.

  2. Simpsons i think?

  3. Seabiscuit (May 23, 1933—May 17, 1947) was a champion thoroughbred race horse in the United States. From an inauspicious start, Seabiscuit became an unlikely champion and a symbol of hope to many US citizens during the Great Depression.

Seabiscuit became the subject of a 2001 book (Seabiscuit: An American Legend), a 1949 film, The Story of Seabiscuit, and a more recent 2003 film, Seabiscuit, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture but lost to The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

The bay colt grew up on Claiborne Farm in Paris, Kentucky.

  11. that movie had nothing to do with horse racing

  12. Film with Joan Collins, who was about 17yrs.  Google it.

  13. It was born and breed  in ireland....

  14. The racehorse Seabiscuit got his name from his sire, Hard Tack.  Hardtack is a kind of cracker or unleavened bread baked specifically for sea journeys during the time when sea journeys were long and foods had to be able to keep without spoiling under conditions where there was no refrigeration or other means of keeping foods from perishing.

Seabiscuit (the racehorse, not the cracker, which is nasty to taste) was so popular during the time he raced that he was featured in cartoons that were shown in movie theaters between the double features at that time.  Some of these cartoons survive and I've seen them shown on the Cartoon Network and other TV programs that show old cartoons.  The cartoons I've seen usually hit off Seabiscuit's plebian early racing career (he was a claiming horse, the lowest rung of racing class, and not a very good one).
