"Shawnee National Forest"

There are 17 designated camping areas within the Shawnee National Forest. These developed campgrounds are usually open from April 1 through December 15, although there are some exceptions. Campsites are available on a first-come, first serve basis. There is a maximum of 8 campers to a site and a maximum of 14 days continuous use. Campers can then transfer to another campground if they desire further camping.
