Where is the Best place in the bahamas to vacation?

I would like to purchase an affordable and nice place on a beach, that I can visit frequently throughout the year.

Go with Eleuthera-- from what I've seen, it's the most private, beautiful, and affordable island in the Bahamas.  Try renting a beach home there for a month or so to see if you like it, then start investigating real estate there.
