Where is the Bestnightlife in the UK?

Question

Me and a couple of mates want to go away for the weekend 22-24 in august this year , and were looking into places to go that are cheap, we cannot decide at the moment , so i am asking your help........ We were thinking oxford as there are a few good clubs and bars there, but does anyone either (A) .. .Know anywhere better and have some examples of where we could go ...... or (B) ..... know about oxford and how good the nightlife is there

how about liverpool there is tons of pubs,bars and clubs matthew street is good it would take you weeks to get round them all

Oxford? are you serious? You wanna get up to geordie land and have a night on the toon, best place ever!!!! We are englands top drinking spot and uk's second only to Dublin and thats a fact.

Im from Liverpool, but I gotta say Newcastle for deffo. Went to Uni there for four years its immense.

Broad Street in Birmingham city centre is difficult to beat.

It has clubs, pubs, lap dancing, casinos, theatres and cinemas, world class restaurants and all within walking distance of internationally renowned hotel chains.
