  1. And BTW, it's not like a national park in the US where there is one exit and one entrance for cars or pedestrians, and it's not "open" or "closed" at any particular time of year (someone asked me this once).  It is simply the general geographical area in south-west Germany, well described above.  It's no where near Berlin.

  2. The Black Forest, or Schwarzwald, is a section of Southwestern Germany that borders on Switzerland on the south, on the Neckar River to the East and on France to the West. The Northern gate to the Black Forest is Pforzheim.

  3. Across from the White Forest where it can protest and scream discrimination

  4. It's where all the gummy worms live.

  5. Black Forest is the South West region in Germany. Located just west of Bavaria.

  6. outside of Berlin

  7. its in the southern area, near garmisch, it's very beautiful, i was born there

  8. The Black Forest (German Schwarzwald) is a wooded mountain range in Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany. It is bordered by the Rhine valley to the west and south. The highest peak is the Feldberg with an elevation of 1,493 meters (4,898 feet). The name Black Forest comes from the general dark color of the numerous coniferous trees that grow in this region. Black Forest ham and the Black Forest gateau originated from this region.
