Where is the Cheapest place to live if you want to do nothing?

I'm 23 years old, living with my parents, and working in a factory saving up my money. I have a dream of doing nothing. I want to move away from my town, and basically do nothing all day except surf the web, watch tv/movies, play video games, read/write books, cook, exercise, meditate, daydream, and sleep. I have no friends or family, and don't plan on that anytime soon. My only requirements are cable internet, and tv, and it has to be cheap, someplace with no work so nobody wants to live there. Some pluses would be things like a golf course, bike trails/hiking trails/basketball courts, And a good library.

I lived in Fountain Colorado for a while (close to Colorado Springs) , and one thing that I fell in love with was their library system. They interlinked all of the libraries all over the whole county, and they had allmost every book, and movie in existence! You could reserve anything you wanted via the internet, and then go pick up your books/cd's/movies at the closest library. Was wonderfull, and something like that would be a huge plus.

Just something laid back, not too many people. A small house just big enough for me, with the basics like a shower, stove, refrigerator, space for a big tv and computer, and a nice comfy bed. In a couple years I should have about $70,000 saved up to pursue my dream!

Is it possible to get away and do this for a few years with that kind of money, and if so where?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! 10 points to the most informative!

  1. Doing nothing is dull after the 3rd day.

Most modern libraries seem to have an online presents.

My authors offer pdfs of books on line  like Cory Doctorow and Jon Armstrong

Internet, bike trails, libraries, and such are generally near where people live.

70K doesn't go as far as it used too but that is a great contingency account if not working is cause by a layoff.

  2. I heard living under a bridge is free.

  3. Currently in Alaska, you get a government refund check for living there because the population is so low or something. Plus the springs aren't to cold and the winter's are beautiful.
