Where is the Global Warming Today?

It seems that every extreme weather event is somehow blamed on global warming (with of course the exception of Hurricane Katrina- which, according to liberals, was Pres. Bush's fault).

Today it is -5F in Illinois, before the wind chill.

Your flesh will freeze.

You will die if you go out unprotected.

Why aren't the Global Warming Devotees blaming this cold spell on the use of fossil fuels?

The Nobel Prize winning, Self-proclaimed inventor of the Internet, Al Gore, blames global warming on people like me.

I've done my share- I'm an American, my car only gets 29 mpg and I use a gas lawnmower.

Of course my lifetime energy consumption will never even come close to Al's.

Since Global warming is my fault, I want some of it.

Technically (though I suspect you already know this) global warming doesn't mean that every day of the year it's going to be warm all over the earth.  It means a gradual increase in the average temperature, accompanied by more extreme weather events.  Bigger storms, droughts, extreme hot and cold spells... sound familiar?

The only way Global warming makes sense is when it fills up the government pockets. Other than that it's pretty much trash talk. I lived up North in WA... if I hear anyone talking about Global warming, I am going to exile them over there. Every day is cold! There's like 2 weeks of Summer, both days are warm and sunny... :) close to 80 degrees.

I am now in AZ and I think we're experiencing rather a Global cooling. I am so with you on this!

And if I am causing global warming, then the people who commit abortions are contributing to the Global Cooling???

So either way you judge it, the Globe, stays in balance.

Al Gore would have passed for a wise man if he didn't open his mouth! But when he did he removed all doubt. Noble prize or not, who gives that prize anyway??? The socialists? No thanks, then!

In case you haven't heard, there is also something known as WINTER.

Global Warming is in the twisted, nonsensical, stupid, and gullible minds of the modern day cave men known as environmentalists. I say they are modern day cavemen because if they had it their way, we would be living in caves (while they lived in 3 or 4 10,000 square foot houses like Al Gore does) so that we could save the planet. That way, we won't emit any harmful gases. Oh, by the way, just to make sure that no extra gas is emitted, flatulence is prohibited.

To all of you cave men: I understand that the global temperature is rising, but if you think that it could possibly  be caused by humans, you have coral wedged into your frontal lobe.

I'm sorry you're an angry, uninformed person with a distrust for science (as many who posted here are). To summarily dismiss science as many of you do is troubling to say the least. Not to worry, though. You are a minority, and despite your efforts to stagnate society, we will succeed in cleaning the environment with a revolution in clean technology.

Don't hold your breath.I am 77 and the weather has always been bad. I lived in Texas during the dust bowl days. The4 Plants is taking care of the CO2 . The methane has disappeared ,how could it be the problem. I am cold too and thank God for Global Warming.
