  1. It's not you have to go to download.yahoo.com and download the instant messenger.


  2. Yahoo has several home pages you can have.  I dont see a IM per say but if you look ast the top right you will see a new Yahoo Messenger VIP link clicking on it will take you to here  http://messenger.yahoo.com/powerusers    This has new perks you may want to consider using the new Beta 9 version.  If thats not for you you can type in search Yahoo messenger and find the download page.  Once you download messenger you will then have a "Buddy Box" to add contacts to.  So having yahoo home page doesnt mean you have Im unless you download it!  Then you have to run it and have the buddy box going as well, so it is two differnt things!  Good Luck!
