  1. Try this:

    1. Right-click on the desktop and select Properties.

    2. Click the Desktop tab.

    3. Click the Customize Desktop icon.

    4. Click on one of the Recycle Bin icons in the icon list box (there should be two).

    5. Click the Change Icon button.

    6. Navigate to the file with your icon.

    7. Select the Icon.

    8. Click OK.

    Hope that helps.

  2. The Recycle Bin is not in programs, and you only need to change the icon.

If you want to change to any Icon other than the ones in your O/S, you need a program to create icons, such as Anytoicon,  http://www.ahasoft.com     or Iconator. (???)

I use the Anytoicon and it works very well.

To change an Icon, Right-click on it, Left click on properties, select Change Icon, Browse to your image file and select. Select OK.

    Enjoy,
