I have a Rhino spray in liner, will this impede my access to the handle?

  1. Not sure of the rangers, but older f-150's had just three bolts on the inside of the tailgate and the handle slipped out from the outside after you released the clips. Newer ones have a panel on the inside that you remove, it's even with the handle on the inside of the tailgate. However, there's a chance(hopefully not) not they sprayed the liner right over the screws that hold it on. If so, they should be torx head screws, so you may be able to pick out the sprayed in liner and remove them.

  2. The second guy is right.  I think it has 6 torq bolts holding it down.

  3. On the rangers it should be on the back side of the tail gate.It is a panel that has about 6 to eight torx screws in it.
