Where is the airbag module on a 2004 trailblazer located and how do you remove it?

First, why do you want to remove it? I wouldn't play with anything on the airbag system for fear of accidental deployment. People have been seriously injured doing this because while playing with it, you are not directly in front of them, which is the safest place to be. Get a mechanic to disable the system if you feel you don't need it.

It is located under the center floor console but if you remove it the light will remain on and your insurance company may not cover you in the event of an accident.

If you are trying to change it - it should be located behind the front grill in front of the condenser - if you are trying to disable it - pull the fuse - the fuse location should be in your hand book.  good luck
