  1. the attack line is the ten foot line.  its the one that runs parallel to the net all the way to the out line.

  2. ten feet away from the net.

  3. The attack line is 10 feet back from the net, hence also being called the 10 foot line.

  4. The attack line is 10-ft from the net in the United States... for international games it is 3m away from the net (meter but not feet, I should say your were logically right).

  5. ya 3 feet

  6. yes. its called the ten foot line b/c its 10 feet up from the back

    [volleyball court is 13 feet]

  7. It's called the 10 foot line. Although it definently isn't 10 feet from the net. =]

  8. the back row attack line is 3 meters or 10 feet from the center line. back row players cannot jump in front of this line to attack the ball when it is all the way over the net. they can jump from behind the line to attack the ball, and it is legal to land in front of the line. it doesn't matter where you land, but where you jump from. the front row doesn't really have an attack line. when you're in front row, you can jump to attack the ball from anywhere. the only line that front row (and back row) players can't cross is the mid line. going across this line gives the other team the ball and the point (unless you cross the line on the outside of the court to retrieve a ball that has passed on to the other side that was outside the point where the side line and the net cross, in most cases there is an antenna there).
