Where is the battery compartment on the swiffer wet jet and how do u open it?

Ok, look at the bottom, where the green part is, on the back where the cleaner goes in there is a tab, push that tab down and pull, there is a compartment there with the batteries.

and by the way if you ever want to open the solution container to use with a different cleaner.  just boil water, after it comes to a complete biol hold cap in the water for about 30 seconds and twist open with a towel( to not burn your self) i found this tip on the "instructables" site and it worked. i filled mine with lemon scent comet cleaner!!
