  1. Try Da-De-O's on Whyte ave. Great Cajun food, I love the gumbo there and only about $ 5.00 a bowl. Poorboy's regular price is about $10.00 each and they are on special monday and tuesday's.

The New Asian Village on Sask drive serves an East Indian buffet at about $ 12.00 a plate. The butter chicken alone is worth that....mmmmmm butter chicken. Less ambiance but owned by the same people is Tandoori Express and Montreal Smoked meats at about 68 ave and 75 street. Tandoori chicken at $ 8.00 a plate comes with saffron rice, salad and flat bread called.....

Pagolac north of 51 ave on 97 street serves great Vietnamese food. I only remember the dishes by recognizing them on the menu.

Try Pasta Brioni off 63 ave and 75 st for good Italian. They even fly ingredients from Italy in. My fave was Chicken Gigi.

Langano Skies on Whyte ave west of 99 street serves authentic Ethiopian food, reasonable prices but very spicy.

  2. You're going to have to try and translate this because I'm not from Edmonton but I found a FABULOUS restaurant the last time I was there.  It's Asian and had an increadible shrimp hot pot with a tonne of shrimp and really cheap but it was a nice, large, clean restaurant.  It's at the North end of the city...probably closer to West than east...I think around 170th.  It's RIGHT next to the Hilton Garden Inn.  Across the street from a SuperCentre.  Sorry I couldn't be more help, but this place was so yummy I can't wait to go back.
