  1. There's a lot of info on the following site about hardwood flooring -

    http://www.building-your-green-home.com/...

and a branch link off to another hardwood page.

Following is a link to another page on laminate flloors...

    Hope this helps!

  2. Lumber liquidators.  Good variety

  3. If you have a Sams club nearby, they stock a few styles of the snap together laminates.

Anything that is easy to put down and cheap and snaps together is most likely going to be a laminate, either a thin plywood type or a plasticy type with a wood grain pattern.  I don't mind the plywood types that are actually made of wood (albeit thin layers glued together).  The plastic ones don't look bad, but certainly don't look real.

  4. Check your nearest Lowes or Home Depot also. They tend to have all the finishing strips you will need.  Also check out Lumber liquidators, they have by far the cheapest you can find.  And yes the snap together is the easiest to install.

  5. hobo home owner bargain outlet

  6. Eddie,

Some people have got you going right.  I did my house about 1800 square feet of it in the laminate from Home Depot.  It took a little bit of sawing, but it is great, have had it now for 3 1/2 years.

They even have a video to show you haw it is done.

    Good luck.
