I am staying at the Super 8 on International Blvd, for the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races. I am going to be 6months pregnant, so my big question is where would it be best and cheapest area for me to park. Also if I decide to park in Lot 7 and use their free shuttle, how long does that take normally before and after the race? Thanks for any additional help

  1. Ah, I was reading this question thinking to myself "Farther away you park the cheaper", and then you dropped the 6months pregnant and it totally changed my mind.

Its expensive to park close to the track, very expensive. The lots across from the track (best buy/home depot) were like 80 bucks last year....

=[ I hope you are able to figure something out so you dont have to walk far.

  2. Super 8 is actually a decent walk but doable but if your pregnant you will have to use the Speedway lot which is free.  The shuttle to the race takes approximately 25- 30 minutes and you have to walk about 1/4 mile from the drop point to the stadium.  The return shuttle takes about 1 1/2 hours standing in line and then about a 10 minute trip to the lot.

Just remember the earlier you get to the shuttle the faster you will get to and from the stadium.  Make sure your cooler is stocked with refreshments.
