Where is the best beach place to go on vacation?

We live in the northeast so some places are just too far..what is the best quiet beachy place that you don't have to be a millionaire to go to?...thanks...

It has snowed the last 52 out of 60 days here...we need it bad.brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Virginia Beach is the beast place I can think of that not too bad a drive.

well Key west is fun a great party place... they  Myrtle beach is about an hour and a half a away from me and it's a blast.  I love Cozumel ♥ its fun and spicey and if you go to local places the food and alcohol is way cheaper than in the states.  Also you can bargin with the locals and get things way cheaper too like clothes.  The grand caymen is  luxirious but it does come with a price tag.

It may not be close, but I go every year to Gulf Shores, Al. Pretty cheap also on condo rentals if you rent far ahead enough.

thailand..koh racha..the currency was low and u can get a nice goods n foods there cheap!  they have a lot of beautiful beaches..u just have to choose.

You live in a bad place when it comes to beaches this time of year. You need a plane ticket and go to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands to Trunk Bay , the most beautiful beach in the world and I have seen almost all of them.
