  1. It really depends on what part of the disciplines you want to major in, what part of the world you want to study, if you want to study at a research institute or not, how pompous you want your professors to be...

I got mine (Applied Cultural Anthro) at UNLV which is the leading Anthropological Research Institute in the nation and I wouldn't have changed that for the world. I studied Orthodox Jews and Polygamists. UNLV was the best place for that because LV is a major hub for the Chabad and it's four hours from Colorado City. If I had wanted to study the Amish, I suppose Penn State would have been a better pick. My friend ended up transferring from UNLV to UC Davis because she wanted to do more things with Medeterranian Archaeology than Southwestern Native American Archaeology and UC Davis had more programs for medeterranian arch than UNLV.

  2. I did mine at USQ... I enjoyed it... all depends where you want to live for it.... oncampus or external etc

  3. There is really no such thing as the "best college" for either of these. It depends on many factors. If you know specifically what area you want to study, look more at the professors at a particular college than anything else. Look for ones that study what YOU want.
