Corus Hotel  used to be the Regency) was good for lunch on Stratford Rd at Monkspath.  ÃƒÂ‚£15.

Bestest : Three Ways hotel at Mickleton, otherwise known as the Pudding Club. Good food and  phenomenal old puds if you go to a pudding club evening.  The latter about £30,  otherwise less.  Worth spending the night if you go to a club evening

I have no idea which is the best, but The Bell at Tanworth-In-Arden is a really nice gastro-pub.   Price range under £30 per head all in, unless you're really thirsty.
