Where is the best ice cream in Melbourne?

I m currently traveling in Melbourne, wanna know which shop sells the best ice cream in town, Anyone got any idea?

try the eiffel tower in assembly drive, sorta near keilor park. its delicious. they make it themselves, and it is always really fresh as so many people buy it, tho it is really good service and not many people there, except at like 9 in the morning when its packed

If you wanna do a tourist-y thing, take a trip to Williamstown. They are known for their beach and ice creameries.

Or, you could go to Lygon Street in Carlton. They have many restaurants and gelati shops.

u don't need to go to any ice cream store. the most popular one is WENDY's ice cream. but they are rip off...

trust me on this one....i swear to you... go to safeway (a big supermarket store) - green, white and red.

then head to the ice cream section and look for an ice cream tub named NUTS ABOUT CHOCOLATE. it's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

gelllato( italian ice-cream)further of the university of melbourne in the city ask for it is in  lygon street. the place always crowded and the ice-cream tastes natural, got all the variaties
