My Mom, sister, and i are going to new York for 1 day and would like to shop around, We need a great tasting, very clean, high priced (but not too pricey) sit down lunch restaurant that will give us a "good taste in our mouth! Where would be the best place? HELP!

Omar and Aziq's Muslim Deli has the best New York Camel Sandwich you'll ever find this side of the Ocean.    mmmm mmmm good

Sorry, but as a New Yorker, we don't eat near Times Square. Nothing quite good and all expensive blah touristy food.  

Take a cab or train to Cafe Cetro located within the MetLife building (Grand Central) or try Becco at 355 W 46 St between 8th and 9th.

I LOVE ROSA MEXICANO its spanish food and it is pretty pricey... but it is DELICIOUS!!! Its the BEST MEXICAN food i've had... but to be quite honest with you... it really doesn't taste like Mexican food... I would prolly order steak with mushrooms... very delicious! hope you have fun in NYC sadly your only going for one day you won't enjoy it as much if you were going for at LEAST a week. Have fun!!!!
