put them in the back.

make a custom ported box. in those vehicles, your system will be much louder if the subwoofers are facing up *to the sky* and the port is facing to the back *as to the back of the truck*.

i usually do that on those types of trucks and it makes a huge difference. also, to get the best sound, the box needs to be done correctly and tuned correctly.
