Oh Defiantly Cairns !!!

Everyone needs air/con here !   Seriously though - you won't find it hard to get a job, would be your easiest decision moving here.

Cairns is pretty spread out - really great climate, not a big city like Sydney, Melbourne where you have to put up with traffic jams, skyscrapers etc.    Nothing but bliss - tropical rainforest and 53 beaches!

Perth of Course!!

Except housing prices have gone up so much in the last few years! plenty of work and as long as you have money behind you to get a nice house there is so much work... especially for tradespeople.

Nice climate, nice people, lots to see and do! Not so much of a big city as Sydney, Melbourne etc.

If you like the outback, I can recommend Broken Hill in Far West NSW.  It gets real hot in summer and people are always waiting on the mercy of when the tradesman can get around to fixing their whitegoods and air cons.
