Make your life easy - just ask a taxi driver to take you to Carulla, Ley, or un otra mercado de comida. All the larger groceries carry disposable diapers.

Cartagena is a little weird in that street vendors are notoriously pushy - learn to firmly say "NO." Then you will have a great time. Show the slightest interest in about anything and you will be followed,  hounded, almost stalked.

The taxi ride should not be more than COP$5,000 [about USD$2.00]. Establish up front what the ride will cost.
