Where is the best place in England for a couple to go camping for a few days?

I'm looking for somewhere to take my girlfriend camping for a few days, if anyone has some suggestions of a nice place or area to go that would be great! Be as specific or none specific as you like, but if you could give me some reasons as to you why you like a place that would be brilliant.

The New Forest is amazing! I did my Duke of Edinburgh around this area- it was really nice!

You will always be near a great pub and civilization...not sure whether you think thats good or bad :)
