Where is the best place in Gran Canaria?

My mate reckons we should go to "Puerto Rico" in Gran Canaria but I heard that "Playa del Ingles" is the best place in Gran Canaria.

Anyone been to Gran Canaria themselves? Can they explain the differences between these two places on the Island?

  1. Puerto Rico is the best.

    Playa del Ingles is slightly busier, but that's where all the youngster clubbers go.

    It depends what your looking for in your holiday, Puerto Rico is the nicest for beach, bars, and restaurants but Playa del Ingles has more clubs for heavy clubbers.
