Where is the best place in Montreal, Canada to stay to be next to the clubs, stripper places, and parties?

Hotel De La Montagne (HDLM).  In my opinion, it's in the best location of Montreal, of what you want to do.

For a little less budget, 2nd place goes to Novotel.  But I would stick with HDLM.

When i was last there I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Centre-Ville Downtown Montreal

It is on the same block as Club Soda and only a few minutes walk from St-Catherine's Street, which is definitely the area you want to be in.
