  1. For scenery and culture, any of the counties on the west coast - Donegal, Mayo, Galway and Clare. or Kilarney in Co. Kerry (south west) is good for culture also. I live in the East, but prefer the west's scenery.  For fun, good places to go are Bundoran in County Donegal, Westport in County Mayo, Tramore in County Waterford (south east) and Kilkenny City in Co. Kilkenny (south east).

  2. I'd go for Galway/Kerry/Cork.  Rent a car or get the bus.  Start in Galway and work your way down.  Or vice versa!

  3. To make it short and sweet, all of the above are correct. What no one mentions is the fact that in County Donegal you get it all!

  4. Galway is excellent, but to really appreciate Ireland, you have to be prepared to leave the 'beaten track' and go off the main tourist routes.

  5. Dublin.

  6. the aran islands, galway

  7. has to be galway...that city rocks! you have everything there, from bars clubs shopping scenary and local history.

  8. Scenery: The West i.e. Galway,Clare. Donegal.

    Culture: Clare,Cork.

    Fun: Dublin, Kilkenny.

  9. For an area of outstanding natural scenery that will knock your socks off

Visit West Cork / Kerry Region.  I recommend the Beara Peninsula as the best and it is still relatively unspoilt.

Try Castletownbere / Adrigole region for brilliant pubs, trad music sessions, camping and good B&Bs

Beautiful area of wild seascapes and mountains

    Enjoy

  10. Dublin everyone goes their and Cork is lovely and Belfast Ireland is a great place
