  1. 1. Stockholm

    2.  Jonkoping

  2. in Norrkoping

  3. That's a good question. I would think that there are as many opinions on that as there are places in Sweden.

Stockholm is the capital and the largest city. The king lives there. :) If you want to live near it but in a smaller town, Uppsala might be a good idea.

Jönköping is sort of the Bible belt of Sweden. It could be good if you're into that sort of thing.

The northern part is cold and has large unpopulated areas. The people there are thought to be down-to-earth and thinks before they speak. The nicest town up north is Kiruna, if you ask me. Luleå may be a better choice if you're looking to get an education there.

I you want to live in a place that is dominated by education and students, I think Lund is the best choice. It's in the south of Sweden, where it is warmer and much less snow (if any). Down there, you will be close to Copenhagen, which is a large city.

If you ask Swedes where the people are nicest, many will answer Göteborg, which is the second largest city in Sweden. The people there has the reputation of being nice and funny and they do their best to live up to it. There are very good schools there too.

If you are a student, the student union in your town of choice can often help you find a place to live if you contact them i time.

I hope that helps a little bit. You are welcome to Sweden!
