  1. Puerto Vallarta, and Guadalajara. Why you ask? Because they're both in the state where I was born, joking. They are both awesome places to visit.

  2. You need to go to los cabos, and stay at the one and only palmilla resort!  I'm there now and i feel like a movie star!!!! I cant even explain how above and beyond it is!!!! Its the best resort in Mexico and The 18th best in the WORLD!!!! Check out the website.  http://www.oneandonlyresorts.com

  3. Sunshine respondant is full of c**p!

Cancun is a nice place to go if you can afford it -very americanized in terms of prices!

We go to Mazatlan on the Pacific coast - nice city, miles of beaches, all the comforts of home - Walmart, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Home Depot  :)

  4. Cancun for sure! and cozumel which is the island right off the shore from cancun. It is beautiful, crystal clear blue waters, amazing wildlife, snorkeling is a blast, hotels are clean and the people are always nice. You meet people from all over the world too!

  5. Best Surf -- Sayulita

    Best Museums -- Mexico City

    Best Maya Ruins -- Palenque

Best Place to Snorkle -- Xelha

Best Place for Mardi Gras -- Mazatlán

Best Place to Study Spanish -- Oaxaca

Best Place to Shop for Onyx -- Puebla

Best Place to Shop for Silver -- Taxco

Best Place to Shop for Opals -- Queretaro

Best Place to Shop for Hammocks -- Merida

Best Place to Shop for a Guitar -- Paracho

Best Place to Shop for Crafts -- Tlaquepaque

Best Indian Culture -- San Cristobal de las Casas

Best Place to Float Down an Underground River -- Xcaret

Best Place to Shop for Woven Goods -- Teotitlan del Valle

Best Place to Sit on the Square and Watch People -- Veracruz

  6. Cancun, because the beach is beautiful and that's the only place I have been.

We also went to the mayan pyramids, which was pretty awesome, it's called Chitzineza.

  7. I seriously need to travel more. >_<

I love Taxco, love the oddball architecture of that city (worst city to drive on Earth if you own a Hummer), good food (gotta love their regional lemon flavored soda "Yoli") and gorgeous ceramics and silver at dirt-cheap prices.

I love the entire state of Hidalgo despite it's many, many problems. I find the way the landscape changes so drastically to be fascinating. In one region it's flat desert and just a few kilometers away it magically turns into mountaneous forests.

Veracruz is a cool place to visit. Come on they've got Papantla!!! Awesome town that few foreign tourists have even heard about (which I find to be sad because it's a very tourist-friendly town). I personally like Orizaba because of the weather.

Guanajuato has them mummies (haven't been to that city yet though but the mummies of Guanajuato are very famous)

There's more to Mexico than just a 5 star resort hotel in Cancun.

Hahaha, a guy almost killed in a bar in Mexico? He must have really pissed some people off, chances are FAR more likely you'll die being runned over by a bus in Mexico than killed in a bar fight.

And about giving exact change... ummmmm in the US I can see that happening (buses in the US demand exact change or you can't get on and the US has them dumb pennies that are mostly worthless). The only times I've been ripped off of change is when I go to a supermarket buying cheap stuff like fruits and they don't have the exact 10 cent coins to give back, but it not that usual and 10 cent coins isn't a lot of money anyways.

  8. Hello, the best place in Mexico is PUERTO VALLARTA, we are the city most friendly, and we have many things tipical the cancun dosent, I recomend 100 % Puerto Vallarta, and you can check the prices for hotels and tours in this web page:http://www.vallartaonline.com/?lan=en

  9. well i heard cancun because it is a tourist attraction

..but then i heard so many stories about the dangers when in mexico, when you exchange money be careful to give the exact change. if you use a rental and end up gassing up somewhere, be sure to give the right amount...

dont go any bar...my friend went inside a bar in mexico and almost got killed...good thing a mexican friend said he knew him and stuck up up for him and the dudes left him alone....
