Where is the best place..?

i love helping people. thats not me being concieted or trying to sound like a great person honest..i just love it..not seeing them need me but being able to help them and if im lucky, make a difference. in my school (im 14 btw) i got choose for a class called peer teacher assistance and i love it! i have developed very strong bonds with every child in that class. does anyone know where i could help out after school? im not doing this because i have to..i want to. and im serious about it so please dont be rude. i just want to know if anyone knows if you can help in a hospital, or if theres a class. i live in the dallas area if that matters.

  1. Your hospital probably has candy stripers but don't overlook nursing homes or homes for people recovering from surgery. Consider becoming a museum docent. You can escort school groups through exhibits and explain them. It's almost like being a teacher of history.  Your United Way office may have lots of opportunities for you to pick from.
