Where is the best place/store to buy furnitures and appliances in dubai?

can somebody tell me where can I find cheap but quality brand new furnitures and appliances in Dubai?

Ikea, homes 'r' us, and pretty much in any shopping street.

You can find cheap and nice ones in sharjah.. but i'd prefer ikea.

Appliances.... I suggest dubai city center, sahara center or any other mall. But carefull, emirates and geant mall are quiet pricy.

IKEA is the best, but prices are a bit on the higher side. I'm surprised that someone thinks Carrefore is something to compare with IKEA. lol

But now a days, there is a gr8 part-sale going on in IKEA. Fantastic time to shop there. Yet other alternatives are Home Center & Homes-r-Us.

But if you still want something looking more or less the same but much cheaper, go to Sharjah's Istiqlal Street. You have to deal with the smelly environment & people there, but if you spend some time walking shop to shop, you can find somewhat good stuff.

IKEA is nothing but c**p. Go for Home Center for furniture in any of the malls and for appliances nobody can beat Carrefore. They won't be top notch appliances but will be good enough.
