Well at least this is for me but anywhere in colorado is great but thats just cuz i live in the flat lands of ohio but i loved steamboat colorado snows geat every thing is great.  but you need to ski with someone that knows the area cuz it is so easy to get lost but a good idea is to go to the pony exress lift and on top there is a small hike but then the powder is great and watch out about halfway down there will be a line of cliffs the cliffs are most doable to the skiers left center. i hope you found this informative. -^^-

  3. Cameron Pass is nice. So are a lot of places inside Rocky Park....no lifts in those places.

  4. Breckenridge doesn't really have back country thst i am a big fan of, Aspen is pretty nice, and so is Vail.

  5. Wayner has a point. The hut system is good and pretty well maintained. If you are just talking about day trips I like the San Juan region. Try out the area around Red Mtn Pass sometime.
