Where is the best place to buy a Wii from?

I am getting a Wii so that I can get a Wii Fit. Can I buy them together? Should I buy them at the same time?

Any tips you have about purchasing/finding a Wii. I have never bought a game system before.

I think some of the online stores are selling the wii console which includes the wii fit. The wii fit is hard to find in stock because of the high demand for it. You should be able to find both on these wii tracker sites.

There's already great answers on where to buy your Wii and Wii Fit, so I'll only add a few things:

I bought my Wii from Game Crazy, and got 12 free game rental coupons with it as a result.  They're worth about $8/each and save me from purchasing a game I don't like just because I haven't tried it.  I think the other options some of the top answerers have mentioned are also top-notch, so do whichever works for you--or buy them wherever they come into stock first!

If your TV is so old that it only has a coaxial input, you'll need an RF converter or adapter.  These are not expensive, but I don't think game stores have them.  A place like Best Buy will, though.

You don't need cable for anything at all.  You don't need the internet to play games, but there are great features you'll only be able to use if you can get your Wii online.  You'll be able to play certain games online with friends or strangers, and you'll have access to the shopping channel, where you can download games that can't be purchased in the store.  If you're interested in Wii Fit and can get your Wii online for even a little while (i.e., at a friend's house) try the new Helix game.  It's an arm-toning cardio game that compliments Wii Fit nicely.

I also recommend Dance Dance revolution games for fitness, but the Wii DDR isn't all that awesome.  Buy it if you must, but if anyone in the house has a PS2 or an old xbox, those DDR versions are dirt cheap used, and much better.

i suggest buying from fry's electronics. the compatibility tv requirements for the wii is just a s-video component (the red,white, and yellow plug)

you don't have to have internet or cable for it to work.

Don't buy it,order it from Game Stop,and you also have to order Wii fit because of the Wii Fit board.Trust me I had to do this myself.

no offense and i'm probably wrong i'm guessing that you aren't an uber gamer that knows all the terms and slang so i'll make it easy. first off try ordering online from best buy or circuit city it looks like circuit city has them in stock right now http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Nintendo-... i can't find wii fit anywhere what  you should do is call best buy or gamestop and you can find there numbers in the phone book and ask them when they are getting the next shipment of wii fit then go to the store when they say they are getting them and hope you get a opy i'm sorry i couldn't be more help

Buying from online stores is the best thing that i have experienced. They have a no. of options in hardware and softwares and can also provide you latest to oldest softwares.

I have purchases a few games and experienced that not all online stores are worth...

They have the best titles and very cheep price....boy...so great service... definitely worth a try....

Hey, you can try to buy them together but it will be hard to find. Wii and Wii Fit bundle is probably the most requested item right now. It should be easier to get them separate and would cost less too, unless you found some amazing deal.
