Where is the best place to buy a hamster?

a syrian. i dont know about the online part but petsmart is good. try your classifieds for breeders in yuor area if you dont want it from a petstore.

I would go with Petsmart as the hampsters they sell are Vet Assured which means they have been checked and vaccinated for diseases which means they are safe for you your family and friends to handle and they will live longer happier lives. We have bought several animals from PetSmart including a hampster and he is still just as healthy and playful as he was the day we purchased him which was almost a year ago.

Petsmarts hamsters are fine but i would recommend a local breeder because you can usually get one for free or for cheap. Theyre usually more healthy too since they have been in a stable home all their life and not shipped in a box to the petstore.

Dwarf Hamsters are very friendly !
