  1. You are going to have the best selection of different types of affordable makeup if you go to Super Wal-Mart or Target. They normally carry most of the same brands that CVS or Walgreens carry, but I have found that  big box stores are usually a little bit cheaper.

If you get a CVS shoppers card to put on a key ring, every time you present your card, it records a copy of what you've bought and you get receipts for cash off your next purchase or for certain items you have purchased at the store in the past. That can save you money, as well.

I would always recommend that you try Almay, Neutrogena or Physicians' Formula product lines because they are all really good, hypoallergenic and by using the formulas for your type

of skin, they do not cause you to have more acne breakouts.

All of these are brands that Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons recommend highly for both teenage or mature skin.

Plus all three have not only affordable makeup, but they also have excellent types of skin care formulas to help keep your face at it's best. Never go to sleep with makeup on because you need to give your skin time to breathe while you are asleep.

And for the best results, don't use soap on your face unless it is Dermatologist approved such as Purpose or Cetaphil. My Dermatologist told me to use non-soap facial washes, scrubs

twice a week, gentle tonics or astringents and whatever type of moisturizer was best for my skin type. Neutrogena makes several kinds of non-soap facial cleansers and they work very

well. Using a scrub every day can actually aggravate acne causing the blood to rush to the surface of your skin and can cause the bacteria and sebum (oil) to come to the surface of your face forming a pimple. Here are web sites you can refer to for good brands and confirmation:

I have tried the above brands and I love them all. Some of the most important factors for me was that all of them were great for sensitive skin, they are all hypoallergenic, gentle on your skin, and non-comedogenic (that means doesn't cause acne or blackheads). They have all been tested and are actually recommended by Dermatologists, whereas, some products

only claim that they are tested by Dermatologists. That is not the same thing at all.  Be sure you read the lables before you buy the products.

Most important thing to remember is to stay away from all of the Proactiv Acne products. There cannot be only one type of solution that works best on everyone. I've honestly and truly

answered more questions than I can remember about young

teens using Proactiv and how it blistered their face. It is not

a good product line at all, despite what Jessica Simpson says. She is paid to promote the product...that does not mean

she actually uses Proactiv. I am sure that Jessica has a lot of

help from really high end Dermatologists and from Cosmetic Surgeons to have such a flawless complexion! Words from my own doctor.

And one more thing my Dermatologist told me since I have very light skin is to make sure that I use a strong sun block underneath my moisturizer and base foundation. Sun block

keeps the damaging rays of the sun from aging my skin, the

moisturizer adds back some moisture and makes foundation

go on easier. If you buy some cosmetic wedges or sponges, you should also buy a set of decent makeup brushes to use.

Wedges are great for distributing moisturizer, concealer and foundation. Brushes are especially great for blush, bronzer, powder, eye shadows, lining your eyes and putting on gloss or lipstick. All these products will help your makeup look as flawless as possible and none of these products are what I would call expensive. These are reasonably priced items.

I believe in taking care of my skin because I don't want any wrinkles, brown spots, or anything else to mess up my face.  I hope this has been of some help to you!   ☺
