Where is the best place to buy cheap studio lighting especially flash heads.

I am looking to buy a new flash head to use in conjunction with two bowens esprit 500 heads although dont want to pay top whack so was wondering where i could get a fairly decent head ( 250w ) at a good price.

Craigslist is another place to look. Quite often find people getting rid of older equipment they've upgraded or equipment they're no longer using.

I've boughten several photog. items off eBay.  From there sellers have their own eBay Store where you can browse the items they have for bid or direct Buy It Now items.  I've talked to other photographers who have boughten items there with no problem.

I got a pretty cheap one from Adorama (bought it from Amazon actually) for less than hundred bucks with softbox, umbrella, cone and cable.
