Between For Eyes, Pearl Vision, Costco, Lenscrafters, and the eye doctor's office... Which is most economical? Do they all offer the same types of lenses? How about warranties? We want a warranty that covers breakage. Does anyone cover loss?

The glasses are for a 7 year old.

  1. i don't know if you need the glasses right now or if they are replacements that might can wait.  but this last august, walmart had a 2 for 1 on childrens glasses.  i thought that was wonderful.  i am hoping that walmart will continue to have this back to school sale every year.  you might can call them and check it out.

  2. Cost Co if you have one by you!!! They are GREAT! If not, I agree with the first answer... don't spend alot of money...plan on them being lost or broken at least once or twice before his prescription changes again!!

  3. Walmart.  There is no need to spend so much money on bigshot brands for glasses for a 7 year old.

  4. We have only been to JC Penney's but I was really happy with everything...my daughter's glasses were around $55.

  5. For a 7-year-old, go to WalMart.  There is no need to spend a lot of money on glasses for a child this age, because they usually break.  None of them cover loss, but most provide insurance policies for breakage.

  6. Wal-Mart, JCPennys, Sears, ShopKo, Pearle Vison Center etc. Most of them will cover breakage when the glasses are under warranty, also they can replace screws in his glasses if one becomes loose no matter how old the glasses are.
