My friend and I are wondering where are the best places to get scrapbook stuff, but a good value but cheap price? We are teenagers and are broke. Any good stores?

  1. Best place is online - try digital storybooking.  A typical scrapbook costs about $250 - $300 and you can do a digital storybook for about $50.  Best digital storybooks are through Heritage Makers. Highest quality and easy to use.  They have free accounts for basic art but you can update to a premier account that has about 35,000 pieces of art.

  2. You can find some great deals at these places:

    Walmart

Dollar Tree or any dollar stores

http://www.OrientalTrading.com - this is online and catalog order. I order from these guys all the time you get a large quantity of supplies at a very low cost. Just request them to send you a catalog. They have many themes including cheerleading.

    Target

http://www.stampinup.com - go here and request to be contacted by a demonstrator and maybe even through a party. You will get free items for the party and discounts on products. I use this company often for my scrapbooking supplies. HINT: Be sure to tell the demonstrator you want to have a cheerleading themed party.

    Miachels

Any discount store will help you find cheap and quality products you can use for your cheerleading scrapbook. Discount stores are great places to find great bargains. I get most of my scrapbooking supplies from these types of stores.

Another great place to find awesome deals is by checking out yard sales and such. I always find wonderful scrapbooking treasures at these sales.

Here are a few other great places I use every so often online:

    http://www.cutting-mats.net/scrapbook-ki...

    http://www.ScrapLove.com/store

    http://www.photomix.com

    http://www.AddictedToScrapbooking.com

    http://www.memoryvilla.com

    http://www.just4funcrafts.com/

    http://www.premierscrapbooking.com/

I look for quality and quantity at a great price.

I like to buy bulk and try to find a wholesaler so you don't spend to much and you usually get more for your money then most stores.

  3. I have no idae where to get them in the place where you llive but i think a store which is only for stationary items will be cheap. If you do not mind finding some scrap from your house then here --- take calender sheets they will alreaady have a pic and take some white /colored paper and stick on to a side to make notes. Ask your mom/dad if they have any torn clothes if they do you are lucky it is a great substitute to lace and i am sure you know to put them all together and make a scrapbook. THE idea of a scrp book is that you note scrap. And when you get some funds go buy some rihne stones, glitter glue and all,and make it look better hope this helped.

  4. *Target often has scrapbook stuff in their $ Spot section.

*Dollar Tree stores have a small scrapbook section

    *Michael's craft stores

    *Hobby Lobby craft stores

    *JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts stores

    *Walmart

    HTH!

  5. michaels or hobbie lobby

  6. I have found alot of really cool things from the dollar tree and big lots.  I have to shop for stuff that is cheap.  I have found some really awsome things from all over though.  I am a big fan of little small shops that sells scrapbooking and stamping stuff although most of them in my area has closed down..  You can also find alot of really neat things around your house.  Birthday cards, keepsakes that you have kept thru the yrs.  first tooth, lock of hair, etc. etc.  You just have to use your imagination.  and a piece of paper and some scissors go a long way.

  7. maybe you could tell us more about where you live? your country or something... then maybe people would know wheres the nearest and best place to go.

  8. I found out about this new website that is starting up soon. It is at jandjdesign.net. My scrapping friends told me about it. They have really cheap prices on most of their stuff and some average. I emailed them last week and I got a message back that they were going to be up and running by mid August 2008.

  9. DOLLARAMAAA lol no jk

  10. Sometimes the best place to look for scrap book stuff is all over your house and garage.  You can start by looking through the junk drawer to find string, ribbon, yarn or wire.  Keep things likereceiptss, movie ticket or concert stubs.  Pull out your favorite recipes from a cookbook or mom's recipe card box.  Cardboard, fabric, magazines and newspapers are great for backgrounds or for layout ideas.

If you are looking to BUY stuff, watch for sales - Hobby Lobby does a really good job of putting things 'on sale'.  Dollar Tree is a good place to check as well.  Mostly for paper of punches - embellishments are a little more difficult as their selection is limited.

I hope this helps.  I am always looking for new ideas and I save just about everything cause anything could be construed as 'ART'.  Food luck

  11. I get a lot of my stuff at Walmart, dollar stores and big lots.  I buy some stuff at Micheals or Hobby lobby when they have sales/coupons.  You can visit Micheals and Hobby lobby's websites and get coupons there.

  12. I buy a lot online..you can snag some great deals on ebay.

  13. probably Wal-Mart or some dollar general/family dollar type place.

  14. Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Target are the places I go to.  They have the best prices and usually a great selection.
