  1. Squamish is gorgeous. But you should try going to that place-- I'm not sure what's it called, but it's near camp Elphinstone.

  2. There are all kinds of camping and swimming facilities in and around Vancouver.  Try the Crescent Beach White Rock area.

You may also like the ones around Alouette Lake  which are only abut 25 minutes from Vancouver.

  3. Alice Lake, Garibaldi and Cheakamus are fantastic camping spots in between Squamish and Whistler.  I personally love Garibaldi - very cool hikes through there.

  4. There's a lot more choice (and also closer to the oceanside) on Van. Island.  I went to Parksville a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how warm the Pacific Ocean was at that side.

  5. squamish is gorgeous, especially in the valley

go up upper squamish and theres anderson beach, but please dont leave garbage, i used to live up there and people left perfectly good TENTs and garbage too

its pretty far though, and not like an actual campsite

or go up paradise valley if you want like a company campsite. have to pay though. but the drive up is so pretty and theres  the river too. its not so far either
