Where is the best place to eat in Metairie La?

I have eaten a good deal in French Quarter, but I am have heard Metairie has great eating. Looking for suggestions.

Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner has a great champagne brunch on Sundays.

Sal and Sam's(great Italian)

There was also this great steak restaurant, but I can't think of the name of it for anything in the world, but I can give specific directions:  Go toward lakeside mall, make a U turn onto Veteran's BLVD(No left on Vet's), make a right turn one block past Toy's R Us, and the restaurant is on the right on the corner at the first block, maybe someone here has the name. they serve really good steaks, at a great price, no fluff, just food.

Nobody Waits ... The have trout tony that is sooo good lightly fried trout over a bed of fetticine topped with a creamy crawfish sauce and crabby donna same thing with soft shell crab. the seafood platters are huge

All of these are wonderful and different. Dot's is a great diner,inexpensive,large menu but little seafood. You just have to try this one. They also have other locations all are good same menu.

The other restaurants all have seafood. All are really favorites of mine.

CheeseCake Bistro, Sweet, Fire & Ice, Houstons, Outback Steakhouse are the few that I love to go to in Metairie, SF&I being my favorite place. The setting is beautiful, it has this romantic yet family setting, I love it.
