  1. One of my absolute favorites is ROKA on Charlotte street W1T. It can be pricey but the food is utterly superb!

    They also have an amazing downstairs bar called Shochu where you can wait for a table if the restaurant is full, and meanwhile have great cocktails.

    Can't wait to go again...

    Go to Wardour St, there you'll will find the most ORIGINAL Chinese eatery...WONKEI : ) it is as it's name suggests. Make sure you ask for a 'knife & fork' when they tell you,

    "you want knife & fok? you go Mcdonalds"

    Karate kick there **** & run for your life!

  5. Depends what sort of thing you are after.  Posh food I'd recommend L'escargot in Soho.  A Marco Pierre White restaurant.  Reasonably priced too £42 for a full meal.

  7. Hakkasan is great. Pan asian food - delicious Dim Sum. Great if there are a bunch of you - you can order loads of starters and try lots of different bits. MMmm.

    Cool decor quite a buzzy atmosphere and good cocktails.

    Expensive though.

  11. There is a fantastic restaurant behind the toy department in Harrods that serves a buffet lunch - about £20 per head.but to die for. Many of the products you see in the deli area is there for you to help yourself. It has to be the most superb and luxurious lunch for a Saturday afternoon in London!

  12. There is a keebab shop on warren street (just off eusten street) that does the best keebabs in London.Highly recommended for keebab lovers everywhere

  13. The cafe in Billingsgate market very early morning, see everyone working and the lovely fresh smell of fish and the natural noisy banter.

    Sets me up for the day!

  18. If you have the money, go to Gilgamesh in camden, its incredible suroundings to eat and drink in, and the food and drink are supreme. If you are looking for budget, a picnic on primrose hill is the way to go, with some beutiful deli's to buy your food from on haverstock hill... :)

  22. If you can get in The Ivy is really nice, and not as expensive as you think.

    There are so many grat places, but a lot of it is budget related. Oxo Tower is good. In the summer on the River in Richmond or somewhere is great.
