Where is the best place to enjoy nightlife in Paris?

Looking for a place with lots of pubs,clubs and people during the night in Paris.If possible,provide some simple directions like which Metro station to stop.

Place de Clichy metro Place de Clichy line 13 from nth to sth or line 2 east to west.

Or you could go to Latin Quarter just the otherside of Notre Dame.
