Where is the best place to exchange US dollars for Euros when in the Netherlands?

when you get to the airport in armsterdam, there's a bank there where in you can exchange your dollar.

Banks will exchange it for you, as will the GWK exchange kiosks which can be found around the big cities and in most large train stations/bus stations/airports. I was told that the exchange kiosks gave you a better rate than many of the banks, because the banks can charge extra fees on top of the exchange rate, but I don't have personal experience on that.

And, since the official post office of the Netherlands is also a bank, you can change your money at any post office. (The sign will either say Postbank or Postkantoor)

The easiest and probably cheapest way, however, is to just withdraw money straight from your bank accounts through an ATM.

any big bank will exchange it for you. if you're in a'dam there are usually little kiosks that just do exchange, though some of those places seem to charge extra commission. have fun!
